Vacancy 2: The First Cut (2009) + Thoughts on the 2nd Trailer to A Nightmare On Elm Street (2010)

This is my first live review. I'll probably do more of these. Still trying to get comfortable in front of the camera, so please be kind with me! I *hope* you enjoy.

  1. Awesome, dude! It's truly awesome to see you doing video reviews. Your audio was good-I could understand everything you said the lighting was good. You had scenes from the film/trailer--pretty righteous all around, brutha. Excellent job for your first "live" review. Hope to see many more!

  2. Thanks, man! Yeah, I'm still trying to get used to the whole thing. I'll probably do another one when I get to like three films I watched but don't want to write about. That way, I can do all the reviews in one shot. Appreciate the support!

Fred, i must add to the comment that i left on the reveiw of the original "Vacancy". I have to vehmently disagree with what you said about "Vacancy 2: The First Cut" i thought it was a quite magnificent movie and much better than the slightly over-rated Kate Beckinsale film, i agree with the rating you gave the first film (2.5 howls) but in my opinion the sequel deserves 3.5, i cannot believe how many other reveiws have been as equally unenthusiastic about "Vacancy 2: The First Cut" as you were because as i said i think it is a truly superb horror film and might ultimately be remembered as one of the most ludicrously under-rated of the last 10 years. By the way, the next time you do a video could you make sure theres a gorgeous naked chick sitting next to you (preferably one who looks just like Agnes Bruckner!!! WOW!!!) it`ll be better for you and better for us, thanks pal.

  4. Sorry, I couldn't concentrate in a thing you said in the vid... you're way good-looking and that distracted me a bit, lol.

On a serious note, I'm loving this new video-reviewing thing, looking forward the SAW VI video blogging, great work!

  5. @ Sneering - I respect your opinion, but I thought the first VACANCY flowed better and was more intriguing than the sequel. The sequel was decent, yes, but I didn't think it was better than the first. But I know some people who prefer this one, so I can understand that.

@ Xtian - I appreciate the compliment about distracting you with my good looks. I'm very flattered, thank you.

And I will definitely do more video blogging. I have a video coming up about remakes that someone on my Youtube channel requested.
