Yeah, it was weird both films seemed to be about Veronica rather than Luc. I thought Chandra West did a decent job in the role. If she were the main character, I probably would have rated the film higher.

The only BLOODSPORT films I've seen are the first two. I guess I should search them and check them out.

I'm in agreement with you about this. One thing I realized as I was writing my review and talking about how great Chandra West was, is that they did such a bad job in giving personality to the Luc Devereaux character in this one as opposed to the first one, that the movie is almost more about the Veronica character by default.

And I can second the recommendation for Bloodsport 4. It's about a Dark Kumite in a prison run by Ben Franklin.

It's really bad dude. I would have turned it off after 30 minutes if not for this review. BLOODFIST 4 sounds like a doozy of a movie.

Wow, so it's that bad! I was hoping that it'd be a hidden gem or something.

I haven't seen Bloodfist 2 or 3, but I've seen 4 and I can recommend it. It's not particularly good, it's first 10 minutes contain some of the worst acting I've ever seen, and Daniel Bernhardt is too busy trying out his JCVD impression to act properly, but it's still a fun enough watch. There's also a bad actor who HAS NO IDEA how to talk PROPERLY AND HE talks like THIS.

What I'm really curious about is how good the Midnight Run tv sequels are, they sound decent but they're VERY hard to find! And I wonder about the four Smokey and the Bandit tv movie sequels (yes, they really exist), which I actually have.
