I'm glad you dipped into the action genre, and this is a great one to do too. I'm about to do the two Made for TV sequels because Netflix is dumping them from Watch Instantly. I have a bad feeling about them though, especially because this one was so much fun.

I've never seen the BLOODSPORT sequels. I have a feeling they aren't any good. I haven't seen the DtV sequels either but I may catch them sometime this weekend and/or next week for a short review post since I'm pretty behind on stuff. I'll post my thoughts on them very shortly.

Yeah, I guess I need to watch MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE again. People seem to want a review. I'll see what I can do. :)

Have you seen the unofficial dtv sequels to Universal Soldier? Or any of the three Bloodsport sequels?

Dolph Lundgren's definitely my favourite action star of the 80's! And Masters of the Universe is definitely recommended! What could be chesesier than Dolph Lundgren yelling "I HAVE THE POWER!!"

@Franco - Yeah, it's worth another look. Still holds up very well. I haven't seen the newest one yet, but I will eventually. As for MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE, I haven't seen it since maybe the early 90s. Loved it as a kid, but I know it would be mega-cheesy to watch now. I do want to see it again, if not much else for a good laugh.

@Kev D. - Yeah I do. Maybe it'll be a future review. :)

@Gio - I still prefer BLOODSPORT over UNIVERSAL SOLDIER, but this is definitely one of his better flicks. Ally Walker does have some nice legs.

I remember watching this one as a kid and being so pumped to see these two big action stars together on the same film, first as 'friends' and then as deadly enemies. Havent seen it in a long ass time though! I need to re-watch it!

I see you mentioned Masters of the Universe, I still have a soft spot in my heart for that one, plus I love those scenes that take place on Eternia and Castle Greyskull! The whole ending of that movie is orgasmic for me. But I recognize its cheesiness.
